The Dairy Queen mission statement is “To create positive memories for all who touch DQ”. The Dairy Queen locations specifically in The Woodlands and Willis, TX communities treat customers with the highest standards of excellence.
Specifically, in The Dairy Queen Woodlands locations, signage is minimalized across the densely populated and beautifully wooded community – making it difficult to draw passing traffic into the location. Reminding people to come into the restaurant is the method to help gain repeat customers – which is the primary goal.
SAFE 2 SAVE Geofence Pop-Ups remind SAFE 2 SAVE users that they are in the vicinity of the Dairy Queen locations.
Each month, approximately 2,000 popups are generated reminding SAFE 2 SAVE customers to enter these specific Dairy Queen restaurants. The dashboard indicates that Dairy Queen is receiving more than 2,000 visits into their store. 13% of those visitors are redeeming. The owner is also able to see that ¼ of those redeeming are first time redeemers and ¾ of those are repeat redeemers.
Customers are introduced to the SAFE 2 SAVE app in stores or are already SAFE 2 SAVE users. They receive the Geofence Pop-up when they are at a stand still (not driving) and receive a notification on their home screen that says “Check out the rewards at Dairy Queen”. This is reminding people to go inside and ultimately use their points.
