How To De-Borify Safe Driving
Safe driving can be difficult when it feels boring. Long strips of gray concrete with white lines is the scenery for what feels like hours on end. It’s tempting to pick up your phone and scroll through Instagram or answer a text message. “It’s a straight path and cruise is on, I got this,” you think to yourself. But the statistics on distracted driving are abundantly clear: it’s not safe. Our solution to the monotony? Podcasts. These brilliant audio snippets are ideal for long drives because, once they’re on, they don’t have to be touched. They’re not like a playlist that you constantly look down to skip through or the radio with the option to change channels. Instead, podcasts provide a lengthier option that allows you to get from point A to point B without skipping or changing or ever looking down at your phone. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite podcasts, tailored to your type, but we would love to hear from you, too! Comment your go-to podcast below so we can add them to our listening list!
