City of Midland passes vote supporting safe driving app

The Midland City Council voted to support a social media app that could end texting and driving.

Safe2Save is a new app that rewards drivers by giving you two points every minute that you do not touch your cell phone while driving over 15 miles an hour.

You can then turn around and redeem those points at certain businesses around the city.

Some of the businesses around the tall city that have partnered with the app are Steak42, Murray’s, Bush's, The Lost Cajun, Baskin Robbins, Bahama Bucks, Brew St., Notable, Trio, and Signature Stag.
